Dr. Shivani Deswal is Clinical lead & Senior Consultant in Paediatric Gastroenterology & Transplant Hepatology at Narayana Super-speciality Hospital, Narayana Health Gurugram, Delhi (NCR).
She has 15+ years of rich experience . She completed DNB Paediatrics from Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi and three years of Senior residency from reputed institutions in the country – Maulana Azad Medical College MAMC), AIIMS (New Delhi), and Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi. Thereafter, she pursued the Indian Academy of Paediatrics Fellowship in Paediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Liver Transplant from Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, New Delhi.
She subsequently did short-term training in Paediatric Endoscopy from Jaswant Rai Super Speciality Hospital & AIIMS, New Delhi.
Dr. Shivani Deswal was an Ex. Associate Professor of Paediatrics at PGIMER and Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, New Delhi for 6 years, where she was instrumental in starting exclusive Paediatric Endoscopy services.
Prior to joining NH, she was working as a Senior Consultant in Department of Paediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Liver Transplant at Medanta, The Medcity, Gurugram for 3 years and went on to pursue Clinical Observership at Paediatric Liver, GI and Nutrition centre at Kings College Hospital, London, U.K.
She has 35 publications to her credit and is an active academic member of Indian Society of Gastroenterology, Pediatric, Hepatology & Nutrition and Liver Transplant Society of India.
